This module allows for users to book resources for use during events. For example, a student can book a microscope for use within their lab. The D7 version detects overlapping dates and conflicts between nodes, and lets you respond using Rules.

The Drupal 7 RDF contrib project has now a new home: RDF Extensions (RDFx). The reasons for this move are explained in this issue..

If you are new to RDF, watch this introduction.

RDF is a W3C standard for modeling and sharing distributed knowledge based on a decentralized open-world assumption. Any knowledge about anything can be decomposed into triples (3-tuples) consisting of subject, predicate, and object; essentially, RDF is the lowest common denominator for exchanging data between systems.

This module provides comprehensive RDF functionality and interoperability for the Drupal 6.x platform. For more information, watch the demo video. Be sure to subscribe to the Semantic Web group on groups.drupal.org to keep up with the latest happenings.

This project is deprecated in favor of the RDF API in Drupal 6 and Drupal 7 which provides a similar wrapper for ARC.

ARC is a flexible RDF system for semantic web and PHP practitioners.

- Various RDF parsers and extractors (RDF/XML, Turtle, microformats, eRDF, RDFa, ...)
- Serializers (N-Triples, RDF/JSON, RDF/XML, Turtle)
- RDF Storage, Query, and Update
- Light-weight inferencing
- Turtle templating

Machine Tags - Rapid and Complex Taxonomy Development for Drupal

Taxonomy is one of the coolest features of Drupal, allowing the creation of information which is organized and structured. Taxonomy can be key for your visitors to find what they are looking for.

Creating a high-quality and complex taxonomy is a lot of work. Folksonomies and tagging makes for a more accessible implementation, but some of the value of having hierarchical, structured taxonomy for disambiguation is lost. The machine tags module is meant to fill a void between people-friendly tagging and machine-friendly hierarchy.

This module builds user profiles as content (aka nodes), which opens the opportunity to use all the powerful modules for content for user profiles too, e.g. the Content Construction Kit (CCK). It's intended to be simple and useful, but extensible by further modules.

Content profiles can be restricted to certain roles; the module also supports separate content profiles for different roles.

This module is no longer being developed. Please check out the awesome work on the OpenCalais module.

This module provides an api for interfacing with the Calais web service, which provides semantic metadata of content sent to it.

Initially, this project was focused on using the returned data entities to tag nodes, but that functionality is in the process of being extracted out into a separate sub-module.
