UIkit API theme

UIkit API is a UIkit sub-theme made specifically for sites using the API module.

Release versioning

Major release versions identify which version of the UIkit framework is supported in the releases below.

• 7.x-3.x: This release supports version 3.x.x-Beta.xx of the UIkit Framework.

API module

UIkit API is being developed for the 7.x-2.x branch of the API module. Although most theming aspects of UIkit API will work with the 7.x-1.x branch of the API module, we cannot guarantee it will work with that branch since new functions in the 7.x-2.x branch of the API module may be used by UIkit API.

Therefore it is highly recommended, and may be required, to use the 7.x-2.x branch of the API module with all branches of the UIkit API theme. We will not fix issues which arise from using the 7.x-1.x branch of the API module, and these issues will be closed.

Drupal 8

We do not plan on supporting Drupal 8 for UIkit API until Drupal 7 is closer to end-of-life. You can follow the discussion about porting the API module to Drupal 8 here: #2648976: 8.x port?.
